Phoenix is just a great dog with a great family! I so enjoyed working with them!

He just has the most wonderfully colored eyes and I knew that the portrait should bring those to life. Kerri, who commissioned the portrait, asked for a simple background. So we left out all the extra stuff in the photo and opted for a simple greyish shadow and background to highlight the whiteness of his fur.

His mom, Merina, loved it and I was so happy to see her joy in the video below.
